Burgerac art hero: Jon Boam

It's high time I gave a massive Burgerac shout out to burger-loving illustrator Jon Boam here on the Burgerac blog...

Not only has Jon drawn the happiest looking cheeseburger I've ever seen (originally drawn to grace the walls of Umbro's colourful HQ up in Cheadle, Manchester) but, crucially, he very kindly gave me full permission to adopt him as my Burgerac avatar – for which I'm hugely grateful. I can't speak highly enough of Mr Boam's artwork, which is, frankly, completely amazeballs.

Chickeddy-check out Jon's portfolio at his agent TOY's website.
And also have a butchers at the colouring book and Shazam! 34 print by Mr Boam currently available through Nobrow. Heck, while you're there, check out everything else at Nobrow - 'tis a veritable feast for your eyes!

AND, finally, check out the black flocked sweatshirt I just got my hands on featuring my favourite happy cheeseburger! One of only ten made. I believe TOY and JB plan to do another run at some stage. When it happens, I'll let y'all know!

In the meantime, stay tuned to Jon Boam's output by plugging yourself into http://jonboam.blogspot.com and also http://withtoy.eu.
