The Burgermat Show vs OFFSET in Dublin

The Burgermat Show is on the move again! Following last year's trip to Cape Town, the Burgermat Show is travelling to Dublin's fair city for one night of burger fun at The Damson Diner...

Organised in partnership with Dublin's ever-brilliant annual design festival and conference OFFSET, the one-night only event on April 3rd will see The Damson Diner cook up three courses specially for the occasion, the star of which will be - but of course - a mouthwatering burger. Here's a look at the menu:

Platters of Fennel Bhaji with Mango & Lime sauce
Chinatown Chicken Wings

The Beef & Rib Cheeseburger
Chargrilled Beef with Durrus Cheese, Rib & Onion Relish,
Wild Garlic & Mixed Leaves, BBQ Sauce, housed in a grilled Waterford Blaa Bun. Served with skin-on chips and house-made fiery pickles

Spiced Pineapple & Coconut
Fresh Pineapple marinated in Damson Diner Spiced Rum and then grilled, served with coconut ice cream & passion fruit reduction

This is a pretty special moment for me as I was actually born in Dublin and grew up there until I was eleven when my folks moved over to the UK. As well as something of a homecoming, it's also the a pre-launch event for The Burgermat Show Book, due published by Nobrow in June this year. Exciting! More on that to follow but for now, here's the full poster for the Dublin event:

The event has limited space and is TICKET ONLY so if you wanna come - get in touch with The Damson Diner on South William Street (contact deets below).

This event wouldn't be possible without the vital support (and encouragement) of the good folk at OFFSET (guys, Burgerac loves you), the burger-enthusiasm of all at The Damson Diner, and the beery generosity of Heineken who have kindly agreed to sponsor the event and supply liquid refreshment. Huge thanks to all!
